Our Equipment
Lighting
The RGS SLST is one of the best equipped schools in the country, with a vast array of lights to suit all of our needs. From our flagship Clay Paky Miniscan moving lights, to the modest but extremely effective Parcans, we can cater for any variety of events.
During our main performances, we hire in additional lanterns, colour scrollers and smoke machines to maximise our potential, and produce a show any school could be proud of.
Led by the head of lighting, Andrew Balaam, and the Upper Sixth lighting prefects we provide lighting for PA events, external lettings, school concerts, and of course the RGS Drama Department's annual performances.

Sound
The Queen's Hall sound system is highly versatile, and is used every day for assemblies (both for microphones and video sounds, CDs etc), and also in nearly all concerts. In addition our equipment is used for other sound installations around the school, for example in the canteen, and for the annual Service of Remembrance in the quadrangle.
