This is what we do.

We are the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe Stage Lighting and Sound Team. Welcome to our website.

We are the group of students, headed up by three members of staff, who design and implement the technical side of all the events within the School.

We have at our disposal a substantial range of modern equipment for stage lighting, sound and stage management. Aside from the in-house lighting and sound rigs, which were funded almost entirely by the Parents' Association, we have designed, built and implimented a lot of the systems and equipment that we use. Some of the latest examples of this include our backstage public address system, stage manager's camera system and a fully integrated cuelights system.

Using our equipment or services

The Queen's Hall, The Space and the Stage are all available for hire for private events; and you can also use us and our equipment to assist with the technical side of your function in any of these places. We are also on hand to run the daily assemblies, which often include music, slideshows and videos.

Our website offers a Request Service allowing both staff and guests to inform us in advance of any special requirements for their event or assembly anywhere in the school; and we would encourage anyone to use it as the most efficient way to make such arrangements. The all-important address is:
